DISC GOLF COURSE

Welcome to the Olympia Fields Park District’s 18-hole disc golf course, a thrilling blend of precision and nature. Our course, nestled in the scenic Olympia Fields landscape, caters to players of all skill levels.

Experience the joy of disc golf as you navigate through a well-designed course that seamlessly integrates with the natural surroundings. Tall trees, manicured fairways, and strategic obstacles provide the right balance of challenge and enjoyment. Designed for both beginners and seasoned disc golfers, each hole offers a unique set of challenges, from narrow fairways to open spaces, along with elevation changes for added excitement.

Take in the tranquility of the park as you progress through the course, with convenient benches and rest areas for a leisurely pace. Well-maintained baskets and clearly marked tee pads ensure a smooth and enjoyable round. Whether you’re aiming for a birdie or conquering a tricky par, our 18 holes promise an unforgettable disc golf experience.

Easter Jamboree

Summer Camp

Brushes & Bottles

Grab your friends for a fun night of painting and adult beverages! There is zero artistic experience required when you participate in this event.

Our very own beloved watercolors instructor, Sandee Theisen, will walk you through how to create your artwork step by step while enjoying your favorite drink. She will instruct you how to create an acrylic canvas painting or paint a wine bottle wind chime.

A great night to relax with your friends or make new ones, and you will be able to take home your artwork masterpiece at the end of the event. All painting materials included.

Bring your own drinks & snacks! Ice will be provided.

Attention Game Enthusiasts!

Our Thursday Silver Social Club days just got better! We have a great meeting space for anyone that wants to socialize and meet new friends over a game of Mah Jongg, Bridge, Gin Rummy, Hearts, Chess, or Checkers.

Space is available from noon – 3:45 pm.

Join our ongoing Mah Jongg players and catch their enthusiasm for this ancient, challenging game.

Must commit to all 5 sessions. The fee covers the card and booklet .
$20 fee paid directly to instructor.

Individuals with Special Needs

SSSRA (South Suburban Special Recreation Association)

SSSRA is a therapeutic recreation program that is an extension of seven park districts and three recreation and parks departments. It is organized to provide individuals with disabilities or special needs, the opportunity to be involved in year-round recreation.

It is the mission of the South Suburban Special Recreation Association:
“To promote the power of choice and to enhance the quality of life of individuals of all abilities, by providing accessible recreation in an environment that promotes dignity, success, and fun.”

SSSRA programs are for individuals from birth through adult who are in special education classes, sheltered workshops, or who have recreational needs not met by traditional park district programs. This could include individuals who have varying degrees of physical disabilities, mental handicaps, learning disabilities, emotional difficulties, hearing or visual impairments, and developmental delays.

Persons residing in the SSSRA member agencies are considered residents. These agencies are: Country Club Hills Park District, Hazel Crest Park District, Homewood-Flossmoor Park District, Lan-Oak Park District, Matteson Parks and Recreation Department, Oak Forest Park District, Olympia Fields Park District, Park Forest Recreation and Parks Department, Richton Park Parks and Recreation Department, and Tinley Park – Park District.
